So are we too think that Nathaniel is dead? Why doesn't someone just ask Jonathan what he intended the the ending to conclude? And someone said they think Bartimaeus died too.. well that wouldn't make sence because I B E L E I V E Nathaniel's true deal was if he has to die, he wanted to leave with a good imprint in Bart's mind, (like Ptolemy).

I hope he's not dead. Most of you seem to think it was better he died, or that it made the series have a better conclusion. I say no way
I hated the ending when I read it in class today.
I'd have to say he probaly did die, because he sure set it up with Kitty double checking they'd be there after the big boom.
Ehhhh.

Stroud has confirmed that Nathaniel is dead.
I don't remember anyone saying that Barti is dead... he's definitely not.
