What's wrong with Barti/Nat?

I meant it like Artemis said.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

I kinda figured that out already. :P

It's the non conventional ships that are so much fun though. You gotta admit N/K and J/J do get bland here and there.

Yep.

I find the nonconvential ships funny, but I'm not seirous about them.

Or shipping for that matter.

lol Nat really deserved respect for what he did in the end though, and he didnt need to put on some suave suit to get it

Hmm I know. But in a way I almost like snobby Nat better, because nice Nat is a little bit disconcerting.

And I do give him his props for what he did - but I still don't like him
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

First book: Felt sorry for him, thought he was great
Second: Still thought he was awesome, though it was a bit irratating.
Third:  Still my favorite character!

I agree with you Apollo, though I did express my emotions toward him a bit, by yelling at the book.

Yes, I will do that too. Except at the end, I...sort of...through PG at my computer... :nathaniel:

I cried all over the book.

Then my friend pointed out the pages were getting wet.

Yeah, I can't stand my books being wrecked...fortunately, only my computer moniter had slight damages.

I got ticked over a tear on mine.

Anyway, even though I hated the end I don't want Nat brought back now.

Well...
Yes, I can see why you say that.

I mean, it'd be stupid.

It's not like he's Aslan or Gandalf.

Though I like him a whole lot more.

Yes, I see your point. But Aslan wsa a different thing.
Anyway, I don't want Nathaniel to come back either...
However, I do want Whitwell back, and maybe she would be a little more polite.
And she'd be a bit surprised at the Government.

I don't want anyone to come back.

Unless it can be explained with no magical loopholes. You know, the kind George Lucas uses?

Yes.
I liked Star Wars up to the point when the Empire, which had a massive army spanning tons of planets, with HUGE technological advances, was defeated by small teddy bears throwing rocks. <_< C'mon George Lucas, that's hardly fair.

Everything can be explained with no magical loopholes with a few hours of hard though.

Death has never been an insurmountable example in writing.

I suppose so. Thats a good point.

Well, maybe things will be clearer when(or if, mind you) the rumored "Bartimaeus Encyclopedia" or whatever is published.

I really wish Nat hadn't died. I nearly cried when i read that bit at the end. I really don't like it when a main character that is on the good side dies.
