He was the Joker in the upcoming The Dark Knight.

And he was in 10 Things I Hate About You.

RESPECT!

I think everyone's fangirling so much 'cos his death got so much publicity. It's disgusting, 'cos I heard there's videos out there of them putting him face down into the bodybag and everything.

Also, I think it's 'cos he (most likely) committed suicide.

The guy was always stressed...he couldn't handle the pressure. Some people handle it Spears style (i.e. going wacko and making people fear you and doing crazy stuff, getting pregnant), falling out of style, that is, not starring in too many movies, taking up a new life, or they would have therapy. Not many stars can deal with paparazzi and other influences.
But seriously, Britney Spears used to be a rising star, fresh and new. Now...

No, he used to go crazy on the media, but then he stopped. Actually all the articles we've read about him recently-up to his death, talk about what a good father/actor he is.

But it's true, he did break up with his fiancee, but why wouldn't he have wanted to stick around for his daughter?

Yep, it's truly sad...
But no point crying over spilled milk...
Can't wait to wait Disturbia.

jumping in little late here, but oh well. i disagree about him committing suicide. he had been recently quoted as saying he couldn't sleep, and the pills he was found near were sleeping pills. and apparently he had pneumonia at the time, as well, so maybe that would have effected him if he took even a tiny bit too much. they said tghe autopsy was inconclusive so they aren't sure, but they're waiting on toxicology or something.

anyway, it seems to me like he had a lot to live for... like his career and stuff, but most of all his daughter. it was clear that he loved his little girl so much, i feel so sorry that she'll grow up without her father and probably won't even remember him

i wasn't really a fan or anything, because i haven't seen any of his films, but it really shocked me. out of everyone in hollywood that could die, heath ledger is not one i would have expected. but i must agree with the fact that the fangirling over him at the moment, is maddening.

ooh, i liked that movie. speaking of movies with shia labeouf in them, everyone thinks i'm crazy because i haven't seen transformers...

Who takes that many pills at one time? I heard there were like five bottles of very strong sleeping pills.

But I guess if his family says it wasn't, they'd know best.
Why would people fear someone if they got pregnant? :D

Those two that I put down aren't related. They'll be afraid of what she'll do next.

five bottles? :o it's possible, though none of the reports i've read have mentioned a quantity.

anyway, i just asked my mum about stillnox (it has another name in the states), and it is a strong drug. it takes about 20 - 30 minutes to become effective; if he was anxious about them not working it's possible he decided to have a couple more, but it ended up being too many. she also said it's hard to comprehend how strong drugs are unless you're familiar with them. even if you are, it's difficult to know what will happen when you're taking more than one, like Ledger was (it said they found prescription drugs with him too). from some of the stories she's told me, it really sounds like overdosing is a lot easier than i'd ever thought.

anyway, the toxicology results will tell all, but as you can probably tell, i'm really rooting that he didn't kill himself. just for the sake of his daughter and family.

yea, me too.

I heard that new Sparta movie was crap. Is anyone gonna see it?

Deaths easily can effect someone. Even if you didn't quite know them. In some cases, especially if you don't know them well.
Which Sparta movie?

Meet the Spartans.

It's one of those parody movies.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry

Sounds funny. I was rolling on the floor when I read the movies it parodied.
Edit: Especially the "You got served" part.

I heard it completely lacked wit and got -1 % on Rotten Tomatoes for a few hours.

Buy hey, critics don't know everything.

I thought the *trailer* looked crap, never mind the whole movie.

i'm guessing it will parody the movie 300? i liked that movie (despite the historical inaccuracies). i felt it had some really good dialogue (putting slight corny-ness aside), and special effects, even if it was gruesome.

Yeah I know it's crap. But it looks funny...
I haven't seen 300 yet. Go ahead. Annoy me about it. :D

I haven't watched 300 either, but I was seriously considering watching Spartans, just to see my gay lover Chris Crocker.

On this talk show, he was like: "Me and Britney are the most beautiful woman ever" *dies*

Edit: Link so you can fully appreciate his beauty

It's okay, neither have I. Blame my overprotective parents and my lack of money. :D
