Phinedas summoned Atlas to constcuct the Pantheron. Harold BUtton summoned a marid alone that took his leg. Quentin Makepecae summoned Nouda alone. So powerful magicians might be able to summon even the most powerful marids alone.

Only by will, and by words, did Makepeace summon Nouda. It should be noted that nouda was able to easily take control.

Marids are powerful but they can still be summoned by one person. You just need ALOT of practise and a hell alot of magic to do it.

No, it only took one decent magicians, two good magicians, and one great magician to summon Rammy as we call him on the streets. As for Nouda, I think that it was easier for Makepeace too summon him because:
1. Nouda wasnt being summoned normally, but into his body. That made it easier
2. Nouda didnt resist at all, becuase he knew it was part of the big F's plan
I'd put them at this:

Nouda: 2-4 marids
Rammy:5-6 marids

I don't think that Nouda would be 2 marids; I think Gladstone's Staff has 2 marids. It said somewhere. And if it has two marids, Nouda would be at least wounded from Bart/Nat's blow with the Staff.

Where is it mentioned Bart fed on the power of the imps? Their attacks were quite useless on him but he did'nt actually feed on their power. Unless u count him swallowing the imps & growing fatter :D. Nouda did'nt actually swallow the marids. He was just attacked by them & whoosh, he grew bigger.

Nouda could feed off of the Staff by simply Absorbing the energy.
We must remember though that it was Faquarl saying it, not Nouda.
Faquarl might not have been telling the truth, or he might have just been guessing.

It's the Marid energy that was stored in the staff, right? I was talking abt that. Anyway, energy here is synonymous with power. So how could Nouda absorb their energies? When Bart could'nt absorb the power of the imps? Here, by power aka energy, I mean attacks. Coz here, I reckon, they mean the same.

OH!! Right. Nouda was supposed to get killed from the marid power from the Staff. And Faquarl meant the attack from the staff. When a Djinni fires a Detonation, a bit of energy from its essence goes with it, which is why after a dozen of em, they get already tired. But when the staff explodes, EVERY particle of energy is exploded, and so it the FULL power of the marids was exposed. And the imp attacks on Bart were to small to absorb, and were meant for offense, and not to be absorbed.
But I figured you knew that already.
So I suppose that really, those attacks are magic and not the same as essence.

Makes sense................. but I have a query. Ok, Bart can't absorb the imps attack coz they were too negligable. But does that mean he can absorb the power of higher demons whose powers are not neligable yet not gr8er than his?
