Anybody else read it yet? I have, and I loved it. Fun, funny, genuinely quite scary. Best read at night on your own with minimal lighting.

A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
Sentynel and I both ship George and Lucy. It's the OBVIOUS love connection. And how much do you love that your nickname is her name?
So true.

Speaking of tricycles, I noticed you moved in with Ximmy and Sent this week.
Re: Lockwood/Lucy/George: Nat hit puberty in GE so we'll find out more next book I guess.
I think Lockwood's parents death are somehow related to the overarching mystery of why the ghosts are there in the first place.
Also, lets talk about how in this world, kids sorta take on the role of adults. I don't know if this is because its a common theme in YA or if Stroud is trying to communicate a message. The main characters' parents and mentors have failed them. There's a curfew, but its mainly for adults etc. And what if the power is a metaphor for something kids lose as they grow up?
I also want to talk about the ghost-jar, the greatcoat and the word "pootled".
I don't think Lockwood is the type to keep major secrets like that from his team. The secret room is his parents study and he believes they're not really dead so he's keeping it for them. But they probably are Type Three ghosts. i think Type 3s can cross over to the other side and back and retain their humanness, which is why talking to them is cool.
Also, I predict the GhostJar will be an important component of George/Lucy
