Hey, guys. I was wondering who people thought Bartimaeus favored, at the very end of the book, after (spoiler!) Nathaniel died. Both Nat and Kitty did part of what Ptolemy did for Bart.

And, who did you guys like better? Kitty or Nathaniel?

Nat redeemed himself, but it'll always be Kitty. She was the one to go to the Other Place.

I like Kitty better. I mean, I like Nat and evrything, but Kitty was always fair and understanding. And she was always down to earth, ya know? Bart's ego was awesome, but Nat's was just annoying.

I guess it was, kind of. But, Kitty will always be too good for me...

And I'm jealous that she got to go to the Other Place. I think I would like her more if she made more mistakes, like Nathaniel. But I see where you're coming from.

Kitty made plenty of mistakes, she thought she could override magicians in court. She joined the resistance (which wasn't all that noble of an organization if you think about it), she has a temper, etc.

Unlike certain Harry Potter characters. AND I'M LOOKING AT YOU GINNY!! BITCH!

Actually, come to think of it, I have nothing against Ginny books 1-4...it's 5-6 (and most likely she'll be just as bad in 7) that ruined her for me.

I have great diffficulty in not double posting. Hard to explain. Ok, I kind of hated Ginny when she was described as really popular and perfect and stuff in HBP. She was amazing in 1-4. I have a longlasting loyalty to Ginny.
