I personally don't think that he really should return to it. It's all nice and wrapped up, really. But if he got a wonderful idea and thought, "Yeah, I can still play with this universe," then why not? I think he could keep up the integrity of the trilogy either way.

If he did it, it's going to sink Ptolemy's Gate (The ending, anywyas) Nothing can be done.

It says she's all lined and old when she gets back from the Other Place, but that's on the first plane. Viewed on the highest planes where her aura is visible, I think she still looks young, or the lines are masked by the aura.
