Absolutely not...they wouldn't even think about that. Everyone uses CG, although the budget would have to be bigger for good graphics. They'll probably get unknowns to save money.
if they are as well done as smigle, i dont care
anyways we will have to wait for a book from stroud to see if she gets younger, no one has decicive proof
I am Bartimaeus, Sakhr al-Jinni!! I am N'gorso the Mighty, and the SERPENT OF SILVER PLUMES!! I have spoken with Solomon, and rebuilt the walls of Uruk, Karnak and Prague!!![]()
As long as it isn't like the old Narnia. The beavers were wearing Halloween costumes. It was nasty.
well it is a kids movie, and bartimaeus aint kiddy, its ruthless deamons here

But it is fantasy and fantasy is generally for kids. The movie will probably be rated PG
fantasy isnt always for kids, lotr comon and i think not, it is violent and evil and stuff pg-13

But in the first book, the main character is 12 and he's a magician. People are going to associate it with HP.
People already do. This one guy I talked to did this random parellel with Harry Potter. (And he didn't read either of the books.)
In his perspective:
Harry=Nathaniel
Bartimaeus=Ronald
Kitty=Hermione
I didn't see how they were alike, I didn't feel like starting an arguement either.
流口水的婊子和猴子的笨儿子。
He didn't read the books, so why bother?
Amulet will be PG, and if it's PG, the directors will try to make all the movies PG.
Shame of the Super Son
That's going to really suck though. Then people our age will probably not be so interested in it. They should try to make it at least PG-13.
PG-13-Pg-13-PG-13!
If it's PG everything is going to be cut out.
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Yah, but they probably won't have time for everything anyway. Although with PG-13, they could have more of the fight-scenes.
Lots of blood...gore....fighting....destruction.
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
There was that much. And if there is, they can just get Barti to eat the mess.
In the aftermath of Harry Poter? I don't think so.
