Lust of power would be a biggie. But he helped Lovelace rite? he'd have to share. Maybe they planned on killing each other, or dividing up the world between themselves.

And vice versa. Lovelace probably didn't like sharing power much either.

Nouda kinda helped tho... he wanted to be in the body. I'm sure Farquarl warned him.

But still, most people would die or faint from that kind of summons. Or get eaten at the end.

Who do you think would have one in an all out war: Lovelace, Makepeace or Nat?

And I doubt Barti would be much help in an all out war. He's smart but not that strong. Maybe he'd piss of the other magicians until they commit suicide

He might not be strong, but he's one of the main reasons Nat's survived.

Besides, Nat's the good guy, he'd win.

Yah...What if it was Ptolemy vs Nat?

Um, those two could never fight each other. Ptolemy's too good of a person, and I'd think Nat would respect him as he got to know him more and more.

But theoretically, Ptolemy would win. Bart would refuse any order of Nat's to harm Ptolemy. I know it. Hell, he was ready to die for him.

If it were one on one I think it would be Ptolemy before he went to the other place. But after that it would be Nat.

Provided they didn't like each other.

I still just say Ptolemy. He's a prodigy. Nat's very smart and had ability, but Ptolemy just has more.

But Nat would win, Ptolemy would refuse to fight him one way or another. Nat's triumph would only be by default.

Techincally, Nat probably is more powerful. Three years on Ptolemy.

And about the name thing, how come a lot of people have 'virtue' names: Gladstone, Makepeace, Lovelace, Honarius (Honor). And they all created war or destruction

Because that's how they view themselves.
