You're doing Physics. Where's the problem? =DIanna wrote:My school offers classes in a weird way. If you're an "advanced student" in 9th grade you take Acc. Biology, then in 10th you take Chemistry, then in 11th grade you take Physics, and in 12th you can take Anatomy or AP Biology or AP Chemistry or AP Physics or Chem II.
I took Acc. Biology 9th, Chem 10th, Anatomy and Physics 11th, and now I'm taking AP Physics. Of course, that's never stopped me from reading books and such to keep up with my other sciences. I find it weird my schedule is so wacked out.
I had to struggle to fit in extra sciences, extra maths (I'm able to take Calculus this year, luckily), and of course still take history and English. And French (which is not year round, only a semester). And then they have these random classes, like health, where you learn nothing and waste your time while you could be taking Chem II.
Wow. That was a long rant. I wonder if anyone will actually read the whole thing or understand it.
Sounds...rigid. We can do whatever sciences we want in whatever order as long as we take Biology, Chemistry, and Physics by graduation.Ianna wrote:My school offers classes in a weird way. I finished mine late April...or maybe it was early May. I forgot. Either way, I was stressed out big time.
Well, being me, I'm freaking out about an AP science class.wrote:You're doing Physics. Where's the problem? =D
/totally not a massive Physics dork
My mom was going to make me take Geometry again last year, even though I took it already in 8th grade and barely passed it with an A. (That class was a bit hard, though.) -_-Ianna wrote:If I have to hear the origin of Christianity/Buddhism/Islam/Judaism one more time I will have to shoot myself. Seventh grade and tenth grade covered them ALL YEAR round. Not that I don't respect everyone's religion, which I do, I just hate repetition.
WHAT?!?! I thought chemistry or history was meant to be the hardest...Sentynel wrote:Physics is supposed to be the hardest A level here.
well, thats obviously wrong. french harder than german? I think not :p. ah well, guess i should be taking physics then :( although looking at that list again it rates IT pretty highly and thats normally seen as a piss take at our school.Sentynel wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/7482225.stm
