Bowling?

They gave middle school aged kids heavy balls and pins?

I took Acc. Biology 9th, Chem 10th, Anatomy and Physics 11th, and now I'm taking AP Physics. Of course, that's never stopped me from reading books and such to keep up with my other sciences. I find it weird my schedule is so wacked out.

I had to struggle to fit in extra sciences, extra maths (I'm able to take Calculus this year, luckily), and of course still take history and English. And French (which is not year round, only a semester). And then they have these random classes, like health, where you learn nothing and waste your time while you could be taking Chem II.

Wow. That was a long rant. I wonder if anyone will actually read the whole thing or understand it.
You're doing Physics. Where's the problem? =D

Sounds...rigid. We can do whatever sciences we want in whatever order as long as we take Biology, Chemistry, and Physics by graduation.

I finished mine late April...or maybe it was early May. I forgot. Either way, I was stressed out big time.
i just realised that i finished at the beginning of may as well, not june...damn i have a bad memory. ah well...

we have to take all our sciences at once until we finish gcse then we can pick which one(s) we want to do. I said i was going to do physics im thinking of changing it to biology, might not go down very well with my tutor cus hes the physics teacher...

Well, being me, I'm freaking out about an AP science class.

And there's the fact a lot of smart people fail it. Supposedly.

(Though I do love Physics and my teacher is my favorite teacher.)

And I just found out I have to go to the school and fight to get another one or two AP classes added into my schedule. Hopefully. Or I'm stuck in World Religions.

Physics is supposed to be the hardest A level here.

World Religions, huh? Sounds thrilling..

I just found out switching into AP Economics is not an option. Maybe AP Human Geography..

If I have to hear the origin of Christianity/Buddhism/Islam/Judaism one more time I will have to shoot myself. Seventh grade and tenth grade covered them ALL YEAR round. Not that I don't respect everyone's religion, which I do, I just hate repetition.

Anyway, Physics is supposed to be the hardest AP class at our school, except perhaps Calculus. Which I couldn't take, so I'm in regular. It's the same thing, anyway. I just don't get the fancy AP title because it's only a semster...hump.

My mom was going to make me take Geometry again last year, even though I took it already in 8th grade and barely passed it with an A. (That class was a bit hard, though.) -_-

Also, I'm going to take AP European History this year, which means that I have to learn about the topics that I dislike so much again: WWI and WWII. (I'd rather learn more about ancient civilizations or at least, the Renaissance and the Enlightenment eras.)

I so want to take AP European History, but it's not at our school. We just got AP World History this year.

All my subjects are extremely hard, or extremely easy. It only gets frustrating when the teacher sucks....

All the advanced teachers are good, it's the regular ones here you have to care about.

well, thats obviously wrong. french harder than german? I think not :p. ah well, guess i should be taking physics then :( although looking at that list again it rates IT pretty highly and thats normally seen as a piss take at our school.

weve always been told that these are the ones to take:
Physics
Chemistry
Maths
English Literature
History
A modern language

Chemistry's not that bad. Providing you learn it by heart right before the exam, and grasp most of the concepts, it's not hard to do well in it. Physics and maths, you have to understand the concept just to know what to do - Chemistry you just learn the mark schemes.

And I'd agree with the French and languages bit. I did Spanish. I'm far better at French than Spanish, but there was only one grade difference at GCSE. They test French more rigorously.

Physics is simply the hardest science offered at our school because our teacher, who is the only physics teacher, is very serious about it and pushes us harder than any other teacher I've had.
