How do you feel about the ending?

Ptolemy's Gate

How do you feel about the ending

I loved it!! Nat's finally dead!
I thought it was ok....
WHY IS HE DEAD!!!?!?!?!
I've seen better....
I would like it more if Nat didn't die
I HATE IT SO MUCH! IT WAS HORRIBLE!

I usually don't dance unless I'm one of the two.
As I've mentioned before, I think it's either someone dancing... or someone spitting on his hands and wiping them on his face.

Erm...no.
the two fingers across the face is from Pulp fiction

Yes, that's Travolta.
IMDb
And someone made a sig slideshow of Pulp fiction. I'll try to find it again...
It still looks like he's spitting on his hands...

 See?

Definetaly spitting, but back on topic...
I liked the ending.
I would have preferred the ending if:
(a) it was a bit more visceral.
(b) it told us what happened afterwards.

I agree....it would have been much better if we got like another chapter which told us about bart and future summonings or something....it just leaves us hanging with nats death :'( ... and then there's just a chapter about Kitty ... ^o)

Why would someone spit on their hands?
But you know what, life has it's mysteries, like what life is. If we find out what life really is, then what's the point of life then?
Just keep his death details a mystery. There's nothing more needed then the return of Nat from John Mandrake.
And the point of Kitty's chapter is to keep the future of England, and possibly the world open to a thousand possibilities.

That's exactly why I don't like abrupt endings; they make me imagine what happens afterwards, never knowing if I was right, or wrong, or even close.

Um... how was it a mystery? Big explosion, glass palace destroyed, Nat dies.

Well the other details. Heh.
XD
I picked none. Mine's more like, "NOO!! Nat's dead. Amazingly depressing, but satisfying."
I was very depress that Nathaniel died, but it was a nice and realistic ending. The whole "and they live happily ever after.' thing gets old.
It's like from Kitty's point of view first, then later on only from Barty's point of view which is so amazing, like Jonathan wants to end it with Bartimaeus.

Very.
The era of disney endings is far past, thank goodness.

Meh, you need a happy ending once and a while. Though I think Ptolemy's gate worked well with it's bittersweet ending.

Of course it did.
If it didn't, it would have been a Disney movie.

*laughs at the idea of PT as a Disney movie (animated, of course :P )*

It would be kinda awesome.
