I was sad that Nat died. At least Bartimaeus lived. Bartimaeus was my favorite character.

When you put it in the last option, does it mean you have the ending or the book?

Yep.
I chose the first one, minus the Nat's finally dead bit.

I like how Nat kinda has a heroic(sort of)change of heart in the end. From most of the book he makes himself seem like a heartless maggot but in the end he seems a different person. I also feel that his death was fairly necessary.

Same.
No other satisfying, or gratifying, or sensical way to end it.

I think thats the best way it could have ended.

Would it have been better had Kitty died?

No no definitely not, cos this way she may still be able to summon Barty in future series if there are any more. Possible

She can do that anyways, though I doubt it.

Doesn't she think Bartimaeus is dead?

Unless she has some insane hunch, or uncanny instinct to summon a supposedly dead djinni, I doubt that'll happen.

Sorry if it looks like I'm restating what you said, I was typing this when you posted apparently. I take far too much time typing a post...
