I'd always thought it was a hand or foot, because it said "extremity" and the definition in the dictionary I had look it up in said it meant hand or foot.

I think that a foot is more wacky than a penis, but that's probably just me.

Extremity is actually anything that extends from the body.
A Dick does.

I think it is a Hand of Glory. They were ascribed powers like "freezing my enemies" and "detecting magic".
