I meant moving on to the topic.

I've actually had a fairly non-embaressing week so far though. Hmm. Then again I only went to school for three days... So maybe that's why.

Bloody private schools.

State schools generally get 2 weeks for Easter, 2-3 for Christmas, and depending on what school year you are in, roughly 6+ weeks for the summer.

There are like two or three, one weeks off between Winter/Spring term etc.

I get 3 for easter, 4 for christmas, nine for summer, two for autumn half term, and one each for spring and summer half terms.

Plus "study leave" (more holiday) depending on what year you're in. I get an extra two weeks for summer half term this year.

bah, we dont get that much. our school do WAY more then we have to. we are even forced to do after school lessons. we get something like 3 easter, 2/3 christmas, 8 summer and half terms are all only 1 week.

we start in august, around thanksgiving get maybe a week if we are lucky, christmas get two weeks, easter one week, then have school til june 4th ish, and summer from june to august.. That is with snowdays and stuff every so often.

That's the one thing I like about summer. The huge eternal seeming break. And then I'm all excited to go back to school, then about 5 hours later a remember how much of a hellhole it really is... <_<

We get random days off.

I've never, even in the fifteen or sixteen weeks I had for summer last year (study leave ftw), forgotten just how much of a hellhole school really is.
That said, it's not been that bad this year. I'm in sixth form so I have bugger all work to do.

I don't like this semster. Last semster was pretty darn awesome, save for having to actually work and art, but I liked everything else.

School hours - 9:00 to 2:30

But we get like no breaks. We get weeks christmas, 1 week spring break and four day long weekend for easter. Does it suck? Yes! We only get 9 weeks of summer.
