Yes, it is a bit awful. What about this one? Or this one?

I loved the Bartimaeus books but, like all trilogies, it was way too short.

Oh... that was some random movie clip or something.

I still reckon he should get a decent picture of Gladstone.

Crop it down and then resize if neccesary. Not a problem.

back to the subject bart and faquarl are equals, barti is more cunning and faq is stronger
I am Bartimaeus, Sakhr al-Jinni!! I am N'gorso the Mighty, and the SERPENT OF SILVER PLUMES!! I have spoken with Solomon, and rebuilt the walls of Uruk, Karnak and Prague!!

They're not really equals.

Faqural is a higher level djinni, who in my opinion, is almost as smart as Bartimaeus. And of course stronger.

where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

he isnt as cunning as barti, barti survived for 5010 years with small powers agains faquarl because of great plans

Why have I only read this......

I like my picture of Glady, so there :P

Faquarl was more powerful, why do think Barti wanted to avoid him everywhere?

He wouldn't admit it, but he knew i think.

Yes, Faquarl is as clever as Barti, and stronger. Barti just happens to be rather good at escaping.

Just finished the series. I loved Farqual, he was one of my favourite characters. I'd call him a villain, but really he was just like Bartimaeus, except perhaps more hateful to Magicians. In truth, I don't blame him for what he did. I also loved his very last line before he died, it showed that he realised Magicians and Djinn could work together. It's a shame he had to die, but at least he survived throughout most of the story.

Yes, though I didn't like Faqural to terribly much I felt bad for him.

Faquarl rocks, possibly the only other bad dude i liked better, through sheer strength of personality was Honorius, who was too good for words. But Faquarl is right up there. I actually liked Jabor too. Too bad he died after book1.
I didn't think Farqual and Jabor should have died. They were to cool. ;)

Pah. Death was a blessing to Faquarl. Had he survived, he would've had to endure the emptiness he talked about until the body died of old age, provided the bodies aged after the transformation. I.f not, he would've killed himself

Hello! Writing you from a school computer! wow, the graphics are bad on this thing! The resolution is so screwed.

Anyway, yeah, I loved them too. (No! Not like that mwamba, don't get your hopes up missy!) Well, you know me, I love anceint civilizations! Even if Faquarl made most of it up and Jabour's guise was "out of style".

So I'll make myself believe it,
