When you say the name and pull them out, you take out a specific piece of essence and you control how much.

It probably takes more than one magician to create an afrit, unless they're as strong as Gladstone or other similarly strong magicians, and Nate wasn't quite that strong.

Couldn't he become as strong as Gladstone if he had lived. He would probably have gotten stronger because of experience.

I agree.

Actually, Bartimaeus was the strongest, as he's fourth level. But he just needed a rest. The 2nd highest was 3rd level, I believe.

Jabor and Faqural are higher.

But Bart is just stronger than Absobol and the other ones...
