bit disapointed

Ptolemy's Gate
Nathaniel was like a child prodigy at summoning a lv 4 Djinn so how the heck do people learn to summon lv 13 Marids

Cos he was only a kid when he summoned Barti.

Besides, it takes more than one magician to summon a marid.

The higher lever spirits require more than 1 magician. It all depends on the magicain summonig th spirit. Some magicians can summon higher level spirits by themselves than others.
Imagine someone able to summon Nouda alone...
Would he be a teenager, an adult or an old guy?(I mean, adult or old guy, because the old guy might be too old...)

But the old guy would be more experienced than a teenager.
But he could have less energy.
That's the point, old or young?

Age doesn't matter in this.

Power does.

Again, that's the point, at what age is someone more powerful, old or young, I mean, does the power gets greater with age, or does it gets smaller after a certain age?

Hmm, well you still would need a really powerful magician to begin with. I'd say maybe late 30's most likely. Old enough for experience and young enough to have the energy to do it.

Then it's just like real life, but with magic and demons, not sports and work...

Yeah you can say that.

I don't think age matters. It's more of your strength of mind/will. You have to be able to control the demon with your mind. Force it down.

And I think you also have to be smart enough to think of the binding clauses and to be exact. It's like a combination of law and science.
You're right, but if you were too old, your brain would be kinda duhhh, and even as though you realy wanted to do anything you coud not have the cappacitie to do so...

No, if you have what it takes, age doesn't matter. Late 30's just the most likely age you'd be able to do it.

Yah...but it's still your character. And confidence probably helps as well. I guess the older you are, the more experienced you'd feel.

And you're right as well, but I think that when your mind gets weak, it's because of character weakness. A truly strong person wouldn't really get weak.
I really liked your last point...
You know it, it's really not because you're getting old that you need to get dumb, deaf and etc as well.

Probably been mentioned, but consider that Nat's most powerful spirits were fighting a war in America.

Actually they weren't. There are a number of spirits Mandrake can summon, and yes, he may have put some spirits in America, but not his most powerful spirits.

It makes sense to put his most powerful ones, his afrits and marids, in the rebellion.

Any spirits fighting the war would be controlled by magicians in the same general area. You can't control troops in battle from across the Atlantic.
