The first book?

I just picked it up last night, and arrvied at the bit where Underwood find Nats Imp spying on him. The suspense you get from reading that is really strong, (at least for me). Really keeps you glued to the page.

Hmmm... Tough. Probably the part where Nat was spying on Lovelace. It was not the most suspenceful part of the book, but it was interesting and you got to hear how the "bad guys" were progressing. Plus you wondered if Nat was going to get caught.

Technically, the part I consider the best is also the worst, but it was one of the most emotional parts of the story for me.

I thought when Nathaniel admitted to Lovelace that he stole the Amulet, resulting in the death of Mrs. Underwood was the saddest part of the book. And the most well written, in my opinion.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

i loved the part when lovelace comes to Nat's and his masters place and nat show him his real power

Nat shows his real power? What, by getting dragged screaming out of the building by his djinni?

I suppose, it would appear that he has considerable power if he can persuade his djinni to do that, rather than get released by letting him die. They don't know he's got a delayed Indefinite Confinement Spell on Barti.

No, Nate has the Indefinite Confinement Spell set up to start on a set date, no matter where he or Barti are. Barti needs him to cancel the spell before that date, or he ends up in a tin full of nasty herbs in the bottom of the Thames.

I can't imagine what being stuck in a tiny container, full of herbs that burn your essence, with no hope of release for centuries, if ever, would be like...

Hopeless doom? At least his death would be fairly quick. And he wouldn't go nuts like Honarius.
you would die if it was made of silver
