I voted for the third because it really got on with the story, unlike the 2nd book which i found Kittys part a bit boring ayt the begining. In the third book, we read with a different feeling, knowing that it is his last book and therefore makes itr evermore thrilling.

I read book 3 for 7-8 hours straight, because I could not put it down.

Any book that compels me to read it for 12 hours straight, and to cry at at least four different parts deserves to get the "favorite" vote, so my vote went to Ptolemy's Gate.

I voted for Ptolemy's Gate. Even though I loved all three books, I have to say that Ptolemy's Gate is mah favourite. :D

Golem's eye had the best intro... and honorius... and topped Amulet of Smarkand in LoLs... Prague was pretty deep...
Other that that.
Kitty was predictable. Duvall was predictable. Pretty lame: Kitty saving Nathaniel for no apparent reason and i qoute: "I wasn't like the magicians" Overall the plot was just too predictable.
Anyone read Stroud's other books? Buried fire ect?

I didn't notice Golem being any funnier than the other two, really.
And the story loses out to Amulet somwhat.

Amulet and Golem just didnt have the same kind of plot to them.

I liked the plot of golem better than amulet, but it moved too slowly. gate was blow away competition good.

I thought Golem was a little slow, with a slight lack of things happening. Amulet kept you interested. Gate incorporated a glue that bonds with human skin into the cover, so you couldn't put it down.

I quite like golem, i never put it down so, its must be half decent.
