He may not need a favored form any more, everyone thinks he is dead, so in all the textbooks now it will say Bartimaeus: Death Recorded, so he won't need to even worry about a new favored form, for at least a few hundred years.

And even if she knew he was alive she probably won't do it because she's been to the Other Place and she knows the pain that he feels when he comes to Earth.

I don't think Kitty experienced that much pain in the Other Place, just when she came back to Earth.

Why not? It would be better for him, He won't be resummoned and Kitty would want him to be remembered. The truth would come out eventually when she explains about Nat.

Of course it's Ptolemy. Ptolemy's my favourite character.
Let me give you a long list explaining why it's Ptolemy.
1) He went to the Other Place with Barti
2) He gave Barti the three gifts
3) Heck, he TRUSTED Barti (that's one of the gifts, but I'm pointing it out anyway)
4) He had the power to stop Barti swearing (too much) in front of him, which just points out how important he was.
5) Ptolemy's great, so there.
6) He actually cared about what Bartimaeus thought, unlike Nat, who only cared what Jane thought (that's a tribute to Luciene. He cared what the PM thought too, though I'm not getting further into that)

But I still think it's Kitty. Ptolemy's old news and he didn't know what the Other place would do to him. Kitty knew, but she went anyway.

Kitty also trusted Barti and she dedicated like 3 years of her life into finding him, So obviously she cared about what he thought.

Bartimaeus was much more attached to Ptolemy. Ptolemy summoned him on and off for several years, trusted him, and let him see the world. All Kitty did was cross through the Gate (no mean feat, but still...) I'd guess that Bartimaeus will use Kitty's guise when he needs to look like a girl, or has to dress normally. He was already using it to get on Nat's nerves, even before Kitty crossed the Gate. As for Nathaniel, he dislike him for most of his career. Plus, he hated his hair, his clothes, and his entire apperance for aestic reasons.

Actually, deep down he really liked Nat. Hence why he kept his birthname secert.

he didnt like him he had "respect" and so did nat for him so they had a little bond, but getting in nat's body made that bond very strong
