Ptolemy, Kitty when necessary.

I would say that it would depend on his needs.

In idle, i bet he would still be Ptolemy, because old habits are hard to break. And let's face it- Nat wasn't nice to Bart the entire time he was his slave, while Ptolemy was.

If the need came... he could become the form of Kitty.

Ptolomy was the first, and he will continue to be so. I have a strong feeling that Bart would pick Kitty's form over Nathaniel's, but he might grudgingly turn into Nathaniel now and then as well...

Well, Nathaniel didn't go to the other place did he? And Bartimaeus definetly didn't like Nat much, so, obvously, Ptolmey

He knew what it was going to do to her though and told her to come anyway, harsh. And on top of that he didn't think he would have been able to help her anyway. I even wonder if shes a little mad at him, but I think she agrees with the price. If she summons him again might be an akward topic.

@bart above. Bartimaeus does like Nathaniel, he hated Mandrake. He even said they had a bond of a sorts before being bound.
I wonder though if nathaniel would have lived, would there still be unforgivness from bartimaeus towards nathaniel and would nathaniel need to give a real and deep apology or would bartimaeus have forgiven him cause thats his nature, once he seen such an obvious change and there was more like an unspoken apology from nathaniel and forgivness from bartimaeus.

On topic, I think Ptolemy would still be bartimaeus' signiture guise. He self identifies as a male anyway, so kitties wouldn't take over, though im sure he will use it often, and he certainly doesn't like nathaniel more than ptolemy.
