Artemis Fowl is awesome, but I'm not particullarly fond of the comic.

Butler looks gross on the sample page.

I don't really mind it, otherwise.

they all sound pretty interesting... but I don't think I will get to them this summer... to much homework.

Yes. But then, although we could see it coming a few miles away, his target audience are much younger, less well-read people.

Meh. If we're lucky, Butler's sister might come back and we'd get a love triangle.

But now she's waay older.

I always thought they'd grow up and get together because of how she understood him. And I'm not really a shipper.

I liked him better when he didn't have a love interest. Colfer can't write convincing romance/ships.

Well, at least from where we stand right now.

It's too cliche for me (so far)

Well, yes.

I thought he would have met a girl at public school.

He couldn't have, he went to an all-boys school.

No....I mean I think it was mentioned in the fourth book that his parents wanted to attend public school to be closer to home.

Meh. He'd end up tsking Butler. You don't meet many girls when you have a seven foot bodygaurd with twin Sig Suars(sp?) and Kevlar emmbedded in his chest looming over you all the time.
Ohh, so Colfer used the American definition of public school. I was thinking along British lines. *gets it now* Hmm, Artemis will probably hate it there.

Unless you get the bodyguard to fetch girls....though that is highly improbable and quite scary.

Who'd do that?

Also, the twins are Beckett and Myles, not Jonathan & Finian. Just letting you know beforehand.

Pity, the latter names are definitely more interesting.

Beckett and Myles sound like authors of lengthy science textbooks. :D
