And usually we don't run two at the same time.

Two of the big ones are systemsuite and symantic.

Good luck getting rid of it even if you were allowed to. Horrible program. Eset (NOD32 company) actually provide removal tools for it and McAfee cos they're so hard to get shot of.

Anti viruses are best when minimalist. Try AVG, you can download it for free, very little system usage.

Pretty much what Post said. NOD32 is unobtrusive, scans incredibly quickly, barely uses any system resources, updates reguarly, and most importantly, it doesn't miss viruses. (I personally don't trust AVG to catch all viruses - it's free for a reason.)

Can you find out how long it's going to be until it asks for a license renewal? It should be listed in there somewhere - hopefully it'll be soon and you can convince him not to renew it.
