Considering that most of this world is made up of developing countries, that's a given.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

My Gods.

Split...
hi there
*sigh*

Krim, you'd love my school. It's filled with girls like that
Hardly any women anywhere can do what they want. America and England are the only two I can think of where they're completely free to do what they want.

Unless you're a mormon.

Not just that, Religion, Tradition, Plain ol' choice (or An army of Ak-54 wielding teenage rapist in the case of Somalia) are the causes. You want to argue with Allah or Kamakshi?

Even if your school is filled with sluts, they must all meet Krim's... standards.

Japan, no. Only in the Metropolises, Conservatism is a pretty big factor in most of the country.

Krim as much as you probably do believe in this as you are a guy I suggest you stop stating it too loudly or Artemis will come and find you.

No one is really completely free to do whatever he wants.

Well since we're on sexual freedom, haven't we actually considered that perhaps, most of the native women in these conservative countries don't want to be sexual? There are more important things to wonder about life than whether one is being sexual enough.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Meh, my point exactly.

Dunno why, But I'm reminded of a feminist article I once read that Iraq was justified since those poor 'oppressed' Iraqi women can finally take off their 'Oppressive clothes' and 'Eat out a McDonalds'. Scary stuff.

Canada--Women are discriminated there, unless laws have changed and been passed in the last 10 years to stop that
Western Europe--Specific?
Australia--True
Japan--Oh yes they are.

I think me need to gauge what kind of descrimination we are talking about in Japan?

We aren't discriminated in Canada any more than anywhere else.

Women are allowed to be sexual, or not sexual. it's their choice, not the choice of anyone else. They should not be force to "strip down" or "cover up" simply because someone wants them to.

They are not there simply for the enjoyment of men, but must give the opposite gender equal rights.

That's my rant, in a nutshell.

So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

You beat me to it Artemis. Of all the years I've lived in Canada I've found sexism not to be tolerated. If some one made a comment like Krim well - it would not be taken well.

They closed the Tim Hortons in Afghanistan. They had two branches there, and all the coffee-deprived Canadian soldiers use to go there. But it was doing very well.

And just so it's clear, there is zero difference between Canadians and Americans. Canadian culture copies everything.

imo, there's probably very little sexism in any country with wide spread American media.

There are all types of "isms" in every country. We just need to learn how to properly deal with them.
