Yeah that's true. If you do a 4 year Bachelors you can directly apply for PhD in the US. (I did a 3 year one and then did Masters). And don't forget there are some awfully smart people who join a PhD programme at the age of 15!

I feel bad because Toronto is drowning and over here we're just getting rainstorms anytime I have to work (I work at fairs and festivals, so it's hella boring when it's raining and the customers stay home) or have to go anywhere important.

Thank you. :) And yes I will definitely visit Canada. I just hope I get my visa in time. It is under administrative processing currently. Because my area of research/subject is under the Technology Alert List (though anyone who is going to do a PhD in sciences or has already done one get their visa issuance delayed because of this). They won't issue me mine unless they check my background and prior research work and deem that I am 'safe'. I just hope I get it soon as there is no fixed time limit. My ticket is already booked for the 8th of August and my orientation starts on the 19th. >>

And sorry about the rainstorms. :( Sucks having to go to work in these horrible conditions when the customers hardly show up.

No, we've been getting rain almost every weekend as well. But monday was crazy. I was stranded in PetroCanada for two hours until mommy came to rescue me!

I get it is raining heavily in Toronto but it is really not all that much. It rained only some 90mm on a day. Over here in Bombay, it has rained nearly 1000mm a day.

'm using the same spreadsheet to keep track of your votes, just deleted the part that records who voted what. I'll post it after the wolves inevitably win, so you can see how close you were to killing them.

I don't know how you came up with that. And even if you are right, why would it mean I am a wolf? I distinctly remember being absent from the forum for 4 days in a row. The wolves had killed someone then. Ofc you could argue that my partner did the killing. But if that is the case, it shows your above statement is clearly counterintuitive.
