So, can't we just kill Gladdy first?

I think he's innocent. Anyone else opposed?

No, I don't want us to waste our vote on lynching him, I was asking the wolves & golem to kill him first like always, since it's their turn

THE FIRST MURDER wrote: Nero woke up in the middle of the night to the soft padding of feet in his living room.

“Hello?” Could he not have privacy in his own home? That refugee leader had taken it a step too far. He already stalked Nero through the streets.

Grumbling to himself and clutching his favourite golf club over his head, he inched out of his bedroom door, down the hall and into the livingroom.

Empty! Nero reached over to turn on the light.

“Maybe I was imagin-AAARRRRGH”

--

Gladstone’s daily jog around Nero’s street ended abruptly at the entrance to his home. The door hung off its hinges, giant paw prints ravaged the flowerbeds and blood and small appendages littered the garden.

Gladstone lunged for piece of nose and tried to use his Healer skills, but it was already too late. He tried all the skills in his arsenal that had helped him survive for so long. Roleblocker, Vigilante, Resistance – nothing worked.

Crowds slowly gathered around the house to watch the disheveled man, streaked with blood, shake various body parts towards the sky.

“I’m calling police,” said Didier.

“It’s alright,” Gladstone said “I was his Lover. Can anyone help me find the brain? I think if I use Healing-”

He was cut off a gunshot. “Back away from body,” “Hands behind your head!”

“I won’t leave without my Love!” A second gunshot rang out and Gladstone crumpled to the ground.
Villagers vote
So do the villagers know there are wolves now, or do they just think Gladdy's a murderer

Everyone heard Gladstone's drunken story in the Bar. At first, you mostly assumed he was a madman. However, after a careful examination of the crime scene, the village decided that the story was true. Two of them were wolves. A third was a Golem. The villagers agreed that killing Nero's stalker was not in vain, as he would only have hindered the investigation by sniffing the evidence. They gave him a lovely memorial service, and buried him with Nero.

Can the lovers repopulate the village?

NEW RULE wrote: Lovers can reincarnate a dead player. The gestation period is two rounds. The baby has a 40% chance of being a commoner, a 30% chance of being a wolf and 30% change of being a golem.
This rule may change or be cancelled. Complain to me in the PMs if you think its unfair and I'll see what I can do.

The Night Police recorded some pro-wolf propaganda in response to the backlash from the Nero/Gladstone double homicide.

They offer their condolences to the family and an olive branch to the spirit of Nero and Gladstone in exchange for their support in the upcoming lynch mobs.

Discuss: Have the wolves gone too far? Will they continue to murder our elderly and shake their booties at our youth? Where is that Golem?

Btw, I need everyone's vote in by Friday 11:59pm EST or I will let the Golem decide who dies. The dead don't need to vote since it won't count for another two rounds, assuming Gladstone is inactive and the Lovers stay alive.

That's a bit of a tight deadline, isn't it?

You've had since June 9th. Let's get these wolves to stop spamming the villages with their awkward gyrating dances!

Edit: Extension to Sunday night! :leader:

Shortly after the vote
“You can’t arrest me!” yelled Didier from his cold dark cell, “I know my rights.”

“We can’t pick him of the street and stone him,” agreed Mwamba.“ We need proof.”

“I can test his blood for wolf dna,” N&B volunteered. “Hold him still while I take some samples.”

Artemis tasered the prisoner in the back.

As he screamed, she noticed a something familiar in Didier’s mouth. She reached in between his gasps of pain and yanked out his animating parchment.

The screaming stopped abruptly and the room went silent. Cracks appeared on Didier’s skin and then slowly he started crumbling away until only sand and dust covered the floor.

I was hoping you'd stick around so the night round would go faster. Wolves, do your thing.

The wolves decimated the population in the weeks after Didier’s death. Villagers stockpiled canned food and bottled water, boarded up their windows and prayed they would be spared.

After Mrs. Ianna, the local kindergarten teacher, jumped off the school roof, the Lovers decided to move. This was no place to raise a child.

The setting sun painted the streets orange and red as the Lovers crept towards the pier and their getaway boat.

“I want to sing you a song,” whispered one Lover to the other, “Just incase we die tonight.”

“We must be quiet. They probably already hear us.”

“I just can't control myself,
I can't be with no one else,
it seems I'm addicted to the way you like to touch me
I don't think they understand,
why I love at your command,
from the words you speak,
so deep our bodies meet I had to have you,

I love you, you're perfect,
a manifestation of my dreams,
you make my body feel,
about a million different things”

The pier was twenty minutes away. As the curfew bells rang out the five-minute to sunset warning, the other Lover responded back in song:

“I think God made you for me,
a mix of passion and fidelity,
baby you're so complete,
I write this song to let you know,
that you will always be to me
my lust, my love, my man, my child, my friend, and my king

I love you, you're perfect,
a manifestation of my dreams,
you make my body feel,
about a million different things
there's no way I'd leave you, it's just not a reality,
sometimes I feel like I'm living in a fantasy. “

The curfew bells ceased leaving a tense silence in its wake. Every shadow looked like a wolf’s head in the fading light. The trees in the wind sounded like skittering paws on the pavement behind them. It felt like they were being watched.

The Lovers ducked into an alley. An old abandoned building blocked the end of the street. They raced up the fire escape to the top floor. The manlier Lover smashed a window and they both clambered through and waited.

“We’ll be safe here, babe…the monsters can’t climb stairs”

A few hours later two creatures with the giant heads and bodies of wolves and the spindly arms and legs of human Night Police crawled up the stairs. They opened their prey’s door and pounced on –
I will post the rest after the clairvoyant gets back to me.

Edit: The song is a clue. I posted the youtube link. You have to listen to it.

I see "you're" not "your".

That's not the clue. Maybe you need to listen to it a bit more?

Artemis never used her powers all her life and showed no indication that she was even aware that the village was under siege <<
