our heating takes months to start working properly. we get them to switch it on then it gets really hot so we turn it off, then it gets cold etc. we cant open windows because they have painted/screwed them shut to stop us jumping out. i wanted bars on the windows but nnooooo that would let people know we couldnt open them.

They could just say they're following spanish traditions. :D

My school is usually pretty good. Probably one of the best in the state, because it's one of the newest(...15 years old). Except for the math rooms...They're hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But we have nice big windows(that open!) in almost every room.

This is how the math teachers in my Jr. High were!

Needless to say, the temperatures in each room constantly change. If it's cold one day in science, chances are it'll be too hot next week.
I remember one time it was so cold in Physics we lit about twenty Bunsen burners around the room to try and warm it up a bit.

That couldn't have done much, besides made the room smell.

My teacher would point and laugh or something like that. Most people wear scarves/mittens anyway...

We don't have school uniforms, but I would like it... ^^

We don't have school uniforms, but we can't wear anything like mittens or coats. We can't bring sharpies or whiteout to school. And we can't hug. Stupid rules.

I dumped Physics for Lit, which is so much better. Those rules are worse than stupid, they sound totally random. o.o
Nothing to see here, move along.

I'm lucky because I don't have strict rules like that... ^^

We have crazy filters here! One week everything's unblocked and I can get to any website I want, then when we leave for the weekend I go back and check and I can't get on to anything! It stays like that for the longest time and then it's all unblocked again! Very annoying. <_<

we just get these warnings that say that the page has swearing or talk of drugs and alcohol or something like that but it doesn't actually block you from it.
