*nodnod* Yup, we do. They're fantasy type books, too.

WW1 was 1914-1918. But the Blitz was in WW2, and LOTR was written in WW2, according to every source I've heard.
Not by lot. The Eternity code was great. Artic incident good. Book I Down right genius. Opal deception left a sour taste in the mouth.
Now Nathaniel; now

Some series I like are Narnia, Sword of Truth, Wheel of Time, Harry Potter, LOTR, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Sword of Shannara. I also like some books by Jefferey Deaver and Douglas Preston. I currently own around 60 books, fantasy/horror.
Oh, and just for the record, The Fellowship was first published in 1954, years after WW2 ended. I'm not sure about when The Hobbit was published though.
I've got a similar number of books (haven't read many of the books that you have listed)
The Hobbit was first published in 1939.
