Dansariki, in many cultures, certainly all existant here, using obscene language is considered immoral.

Thought I might put it simply.
Doesn't stop him from using those words though.

Okay, what did i just read...I read the David and Goliath story from my Bible just now.

Nice to know I have some support.
Quite frankly, in most situations, world over, it's not considered incredibly taboo, it's usage of exaggeration and emphasis.

Some works are still taboo, and still ones even I don't use often if ever, and I consider myself pretty profane.

Von Neumann's War and Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea now done.
Moving on to re-reading Galt's speech.
Knowledge is Power, Power Corrupts, and Corruption Destroys.

I can understand the annoying taboo of words like crap and cabbage. They're not obscene words. But the words you're saying Datsuyk aren't exactly necessary...

Well, no I meant like the c-word.
The F-word is fine.
It's not like I'm a rapper, using one for every flooping 'ecking sentence, trying to flooping 'eck up every motherflooping 'ecking thing.
That's just not my style.

Still re-reading Galt's speech.

.....

I say it a lot too man, but not in the company of little kids... (edit: actually Gladstone says it alot)

Heh. The minute kids learn that word, they lose all innocence because all the other trash talk and crudeness comes rushing in.
