I am reading the keys to the kingdom - Lady friday by Garth nix.Quite a good book.
Yes, it is.
My parents got it for me for my birthday.
Have you read the Abhorsen books?
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Reading: Kushiel's Chosen by Jacqueline Carey
Nothing to see here, move along.
Now I am reading animal farm also... I absolutely hate this book, it screws up everything, everything is wrong, and you can't compare farms to government.
AIONIOS Animal Farm is a great satire of the USSR.

A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
Yes, you can.
It helped me understand it better. I loved it.
I'm reading The Naming or The Gift in some countries.
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Now I'm reading Time's Eye.
Then I move on to His Dark Materials.
Is that good?
Noooo don't defile your mind.
"You belong in Gryffindor,

set Gryffindors apart."
I thought Time's Eye was pretty good. Alexander ftw...

Then I'll try it.
Alexander?

The Great.
As opposed to Genghis Khan.
The two end up in the same time period, you see, due to a screwup of time.

Sounds kind of screwy.
They must have a massive face off.

Of course. At Babylon.

The perfect battleground. Haven't started it, have to read something for school.
Ianna, what's wrong with His Dark Materials? I don't think it can defile my mind. My minds already defiled. Thanks to Harry Potter.
Because the first two books are so beautifully written and gather so momentuem it leads you hungry for a BAM! awesome shabang cool exploding wonderful statisfying conclusion....and Spyglass gives you cadswallop.
Of course, this is my opinion. And quite a few people disagree with me, saying the ending was spectacular and orginal.
"You belong in Gryffindor,

Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
I have no idea what the books are about, I merely saw them, thought they looked interesting, and noticed that others have read them as well. So I might as well read them.
Ianna, that reminds me of this other book sereis...that..I can't remember the name of.
What's it about?
"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."
Oh woops. Now I rememder. Artemis Fowl. As much as I love them, did the ending seem a bit...empty?
Is there going to be another one?
I'm not sure that this book has been translated into English, I know it will be soon. It's called memorias de Idhun in Spanish, it's name in English must be something like "Memories of Idhun". It's a trilogy, they are my favourite books, they are very good, I love them :D
Grapes of Wrath.
Which is a powerful story and fully deserving of it's awards, but eventually you start thinking in a very bad Southern drawl...y'all. -_-
