Literally, I did.

I read all the Bone books out. They are all very funny. Can't wait for the next to come.
Edit: B&A, ignore Ianna and Artemis if she was to come on; we all don't like the Cycle like you do. You're slightly starting to hate those books, but your not quite there yet.

You know all the black and white Bone books are out, right? It's just the coloured versions that aren't all out yet.

Yeah I know. I can't get the black and white versions.
A bone book is a comic book series started in the 90s and ended in 2005. Most libraries should have them.

Can't you find the Bone One Volume Edition? That's what I've ordered. As well as buying the colour versions. Ahem...

I suppose so. I do not like it when I don't happen to be reading it, but otherwise....... And I read it again coz I have nothing else to read now & I had sought of forgotten the story.

Hmm. Is that the book where there are kids that can read and talk to each other in their minds? And like a kid gets killed by a tree or something and so the rest of the kids can't hear him any more? If that's it, I read it when I was like 6. If not, I'm gonna look like an idiot. Hmm. I might look like an idiot anyway. But yeah, I want to know if that's it, cuz I've been meaning to read it again for a while and I wasn't sure what the book's name was.

Also, I've read...

Blaze of Glory (9/10), and
Heart of Gold by (9/10)Michael Pryor,
The Fourth Horseman (6/10)by Kate Thompson,
Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (5/10), and
Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever (5/10) by James Patterson,
Seeing Redd (4/10) by Frank Beddor

since last post.

how can you give the maximum ride books only 5

ive read

making money (7/10)
maximum ride saving the world and other extreme sports (9/10)

What are the Maximum Ride books about, anyway?

I've seen them, but never bothered to pick them up.

Flying children who have enhanced biological capabilities. They also don't seem to have respect for their elders.

The first one was okay, but I'm beginning to think the author was inspired by a FanFiction and used the inspiration to write the second book.
How good is the Lord of the Rings, actually? I have tried to read it umpteen times, only to be disappointed with the real slow progress of the book.

The Lord of the Rings is a fantastic book. The first few chapters in particular are painfully slow, but once Frodo and co. actually get off their asses and do something it picks up a lot.

Not convinced. I read the first and got halfway through the second before just GIVING UP. Honestly, I know I missed the actual climax of the series but still... I couldn't handle it.

Halfway through the second? That's just after the half the book about Frodo and Sam, right? Those bits aren't as good as the bits about the other Fellowship members in my opinion... I think the way the films did it, cutting between the two, was a better system than the books doing half/half.

U speak my mind. I read the first part too [infact 4 times on the last count coz I used to reread it after huge gaps ( and obviously forget the story in the meantime) - force myself too, coz I know they are supposed to be very good]. However, I just CAN"T read it again. Is it alright if I skip the first book (after seeing the first movie) & start with the second? And how's the second? Interesting?

You might get a bit confused.. there are a few changes between book and movie. Besides, part two of Fellowship is one of my favourite parts.

I love all of the Lord of the Rings, except when they introduce Eowyn I was so excited to see a girl I grew tired of Sam, Gollum, and Frodo.

I read the first 1 once, then after a huge gap read the first and half the second but gave up...finally finished it one night when I was having trouble sleeping. I had to read the 3rd for school, and it was dull at the begginging. But now I'm done and I's so happy I read then all!
