I'm assuming this is for school?
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Halo: The Fall of Reach.
I found out this one is actually the first chronological story in the Halo series novelization. It's okay. i'm not a sci-fi book person anyway...

School? Hah, I wish they did flying lessons at school... it's for my pilot's license.

Loads of books:

The Wasp Factory - Iain Banks (read this book. Seriously. Though, not if you're squeamish)

Walking on Glass - Iain Banks

Feersum Endjinn - Iain M. Banks

Plus various physics and flying books.

Stephen King- The ballad of the flexible bullet.

And before that, it think "Jefty is Five" and the Last Siege by Jonathan Stroud, which was AMAZING!

Heaven's Net is Wide - Lian Hearn

Prequel to the Otori Saga.
I wish I were a cat-dragon
Nectanebo Foliot
Snakehead - Anthony Horowitz

Weird how after Ark Angel he said that he wouldn't write another Alex Rider book, and yet, here one is...

I got Proof, but David Aubern.

The review is so dramatic: "a play about scientists whose science matters less than their humanity" :'(

Edit: And the movie, is directed by John Madden, the guy who was supposedly making the BT movie...

*yay* Stroud is clearly on his way to ruling the universe =]
Lord of the Flies

Just finished it.

Ug....
I'm reading the very boring The Last of the Mohicans.
I wish I could to this :getfirefox: and read a better book.
im reading 2 books; Polgara the Sorceress and Belgarath the Sorcerer. again. :D
I'm reading a few books...

Johnathan Strange and Mister Norell by Susana Clarke- it has certain similarities to the Bartimaeus trilogy... But I'd sooner liken it to the illegitimate child of the complete works of J.K. Rowling and Jane Austen. :D It's awesome.

1968: The Year that Rocked the World by Mark Kurlansky. It should be absoluetly required reading for everyone whose parents were part of the Vietnam generation. I'm learning so much about the time- it's actually making it alot easier to interact with my parents, and even my grandparents. I think its because it's giving me a pretty good understanding of what shaped my parent's worldviews, and how it shaped them. I can't even begin to express the emotional impact it's having on me.

Nero! Last of the Mohicans is a wonderful story. If the book is boring you to tears... Just rent the movie! :D

Of course, perhaps it works differently for those with hearts of stone." -Dansariki

Alex Rider is okay. 1-10: 5.5 and maybe 6 for Scorpion. I read them all in two weeks and I had to go back to make sure I didn't leave out entire chapters.

Heh, never quite grasped what the Author wanted to say. The old original sin, yes, but yes.

Hmm, mostly a load of fanfiction atm. I was reading a few of the Shapeshifter series a week or so ago, and I've requested Snakehead at my library, but I kinda need a few suggestions...
