Si sapis, sis apis - If you're wise, be a bee
If you think the grass is greener on the other side, it's because it is fertilized with bullcabbage
That's just fine. :)

I didn't know there were more books! I stopped after 4. I think the writing style annoyed me and there was a long gap between 4 and 5

Yes? I did draw fanart for it. :P
It is good but this time the end was a little predictable. The other books had more suspense.

You should continue reading it!

And now, reading The Book Thief.

I read An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth by Chris Hadfield. Good read. Just started Crytonomicon by Neal Stephenson.

I finally got around to reading Frankenstein's Monster.

...So apparently the monster can talk quite eloquently.

And he's quite spritely fellow too.

Does 'what are you currently reading' also expand to fanfiction?
If not, is there a topic for it?

You can include fanfic here.
Reading the fourth book in the series The Heroes of Olympus.

Well, I read Fragile Things recently, a collection of Short Stories. I thought it was good, anyhow.
That's Neil Gaiman, right?

Jumping on the bandwagon: The Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth by Chris Hadfield.

Also, Gesture Drawing for Animation by Walt Staunchfield and The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by NK Jeminsin. Quality stuff.

Yes actually!

Also, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms sounds interesting. What did you think of it?
Well I'm not done it, but it's really good. Usually (with a few exceptions) I'm not really in for high-concept fantasy; I like stuff that's grounded more in the real world like Bartimaeus, but the writing style is intriguing and there's some great world building, although I wish there was more focus on political intrigue and less on gods.

There's been at least two jaw-dropping plot twists already though, which is wonderful.
