Multiplayer rules, though.
Looks very good.
A buy, if you like squad-based games, or need a new multiplayer game.

The only real squad-based game I've played recently is GRAW 2, which is kinda average.

Heard Mass Effect was great, never played it.

Mass Effect is great. Definitely worth getting. Better on PC than 360.

Bioshock's rubbish. So much potential thrown away. Glad I didn't waste my money on it.
(gaming systems: I only have a PC. Yay!)

Bioshock is just Legendary. Although it did have a problem, namely that Easy mode was too easy, and The others were too hard...

I never liked Bioshock really. It's a mediocre shooter at best, and while it's an interesting setting the execution and story aren't *that* great.

You fail. Bioshock is far from mediocre, and it has the best story I've ever seen in a videogame.

For me, Halo has got a good story. Not 2 and 3. Combat Evolved. Not the best admittedly, but it's a shocker.

I've never tried Bioshock, so there's no interference from me in this argument..

I grant you the story is pretty good as shooters go, but you only have to look at something like Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect to see how to do videogame stories properly. (The Max Payne games do pretty good stories too. Hell, even Half Life 2 does, though it's told in a generally far less in-your-face style than most games.)
On pure gameplay (which is what I meant by the "mediocre shooter" comment) it's not that great. (HL2 isn't either to be honest, but it does have the truly brilliant gravity gun.) The Source engine's pure shooter aspects are very basic, and Bioshock somehow contrived to make the controls horribly unresponsive. The plasmids just felt clumsy.

Mass Effect is an RPG, of course it has a good story.
The plasmids do not "feel clumsy", and in any case the guns are more important.
And Bioshock has a gravity gun (of sorts).

There's no reason you can't do a story as good as Mass Effect or KotOR's in a shooter (as previously mentioned, see Max Payne and HL2 for good implementations of story in shooters).
The generally unexciting guns.
HL2 has the best implementation of the gravity gun, and also did it first.
