Eragon and eldest by christopher paolini are the best boks ever! Bartimaeus trilogy comes a close third place on my list.

Well, it's not Bella! She's described herself multiple times as blonde.

I have no idea who the person on the cover is supposed to be. The cover I have is just a picture of a pair of hands holding an apple.

I have no clue how that relates to the story.

I couldn't find the page where her black hair is mentioned, but I did manage to find this...

Pg 10: "I should be tan, sporty, blond-a volleyball player...or a cheerleader perhaps"

Later on she says "I was ivory skinned, without even the excuse of blue eyes or red hair"

So blond and red are out. Brunette would be the logical conclusion.
