Strouds thought alot about Solomon, look how many references there are to him in the first book alone. If Solmon was with him in the energy of the very first book, that gives me the feeling Ring of Solomon should be good

Thank you :D . And I'm glad to see that they have put up the release dates of India somewhere. I was worried it would release much later.

He has made both his entries really interesting.
I love the excitement a new book brings before its release.

Touche.

Pity the lack of mainstream appeal, mainly because Mwamba wants a midnight party.

Yeah...

*sigh* That's right Stroud, talk about London and New York and torture me. I was going to go to one or the other, but alas I am poor.

And another new journal post:
wrote:The proofs for the first half of the Amulet graphic novel have arrived, and they look stunning – Lee Sullivan and Nic Chapuis have done a fantastic job with the art. They’re frantically finishing the big Ramuthra sequence now. I’m going through Lee’s roughs for this today.

Made a few last tweaks to the front matter of Solomon. An extra paragraph here, a line or two in a footnote there. Just waiting for the US copyedit to be finished, so I can check through that.

Work is still progressing on the UK cover. It’s been taking a while to get right.
Just seen on the internet that there’s a Russian edition of Buried Fire… Looks like a great cover, with a winged dragon soaring about, but I haven’t seen a copy yet. I’ll have to chase the publishers...

Hmm...I wonder when the book is coming out in Australia...
Maybe I should order a copy off the US Amazon website. I still have some cred left on a gift card...Are all the covers going to be the same? I've always like the glitter holo American covers than the UK/Commonwealth ones. My Ptolemy's Gate wasn't very nicely done. >:( It's so low-qual that you can see the pixels on the lion!
'Kay, I'm confuzzled. Now the amazon.ca release date says October 14. I hope it's not, might mess up my plans.

eww, pixels.
What do you all think of the Phoenix, on a somewhat random note? Has always been my favorite mythological creature, long before TBT. Cool animal. I want one :P

Phonixes themselves? First time I really read about one was in Harry Potter. Sheesh where else have I heard of a phoniex? =( Or do you mean the picture of the phoenix? What are the things sticking out of its head? A flaming crest is cool but that one looks kinda weird. And Id say no to its beak that grey color. But overal I like it. Looks real

Btw Wonder what the chuches would say about this book, lol.
The things sticking out of its head are called feathers, I think. That is what you call them for a peacock.
What opposition will the Church have for this? There are so many fantasy tales.

Phoenixes are awesome. Along with dragons, they are my fav mythological creature too.

Oh right, I didn't even think of that. But don't blame me, I'm not a Christian.
But nah, seriously I don't think the Church will object. And anyway, doesn't Solomon later on have differences with god or something?

Yes, I agree!
