I think I'd make a good Normal Bartimaeus voice.
Nevermind the big lions roar voice and all that.

Speaking of which, I can imagine it now. Bart turning to the camera and saying his little side comments to the audience...that'd be so cool! *squee*

Well, what about the footnotes? I need them for sure. But how are they going to add them? The person doing Bart can't possibly speak the footnotes too. It would all clash & sound damn confusing. That means we require someone else to speak it, but that would need a little organizing.

i know how it can be done, but i'll keep quiet.
I'm thinking of sending my first scene script to Stroud n see what he thinks of it.
Considering how slow they're going, it would be a welcome change in the film's process.

Well, that was what I meant: the footnotes. Although most of them were explainations or something else, I know that, but I was mostly referring to the sarcastic ones where Bart gives his opinion on something or someone (especially Nat).

All the hype that the new fantasy movies were getting back then in the early decade seems to be gone now. Or maybe it's just me cause I was little back then. *sigh* Good old days...

*sigh* Okay, maybe no one cares about being nostalgic these days except middle-aged and old people...

And Bart is still enjoying his life in the OP. It won't be long before he gets summoned again...in the big screen this time, but that still seems ages away. Wonder how Bart would feel about that, being in a movie about himself.

Yeah, we've all had our doubts, considering those you mentioned and the previous films. But
One: It's probably never going to be made
two: If it does, we should have faith.

That too.
Don't be so mean Dansariki to the newbie...
Like I said, the footnotes could be done by Bart turning to the camera and saying them out loud or something. Although I don't know about the really long ones...

And welcome! :welcome:

Well, I understand ur concerns, but the books will become highly popular if a good movie is made. If the movie is bad, well, no difference. It won't stop me or the rest from loving the books.
Hogwartshok, Barty turning to the audience to recite the footworks won't work, I think. What if he is conversing with someone? What will the other person do when he meanders through his memories? They can't always say, 'Stop daydreaming Bart!'

Aren't the books already popular? They just don't have a net following for some reason. Demographics or something.

They could just leave the footnotes out.

Bad idea. Sorry. That would just be another Eragon.
Anyone saw Malcolm in the Middle? (If you haven't watched it...it's ok.) Well, it's going to be just like the parts where Malcolm turns around and starts talking to the camera. But good point N&B, it might not work well anyway...

Just as long as the director for the AoS movie is not like the Eragon director. Although I kinda feel sorry for that guy though, he was a first-timer.
