I don't think anyone from the forums will be picked for anything, unless it's as an extra, and even then, only if Stroud gives it the OK, assuming he recieves full control.
I doubt he'll let a movie be made, period, unless he gets control over the entire situation, despot-style control.
That's why Atlas Shrugged was never made ('till now), Ayn Rand wanted full control, and Hollywood just threw it on the shelf and said fine, we'll wait 'till you're dead.
She hated Fountain Head, the adaption.
That's the reason she wanted control of Shrugged.
If Stroud decides to take that route, we may have a significantly longer time to wait for anything whatsoever, regardless of how he feels, unless he can find a studio that will give him what he wants.
He should also have the foresight to do what Lucas did, keep the merchandizing rights.
Yes, I know I spelled that wrong.
I'd perfer, as I've said, unknowns, but personally I wouldn't care if someone like Keanu Reeves or Jack Nicholson gets it,
as long as they can do the part correctly.
I'll (and Stroud'll) not have some idiot tear apart his story.
Look what happened with the fim adaption of The Cat in the Hat.
Ugh.
Finally someone had the intelligence to go animation, with Horton Hears a Who.
Wow.
I feel in a typing mood, aparently.
