So true.

Forget I even said that.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

She must really be annoying to beat Post. Then again Arti can be extremely annoying too when she wants to be. So I see where you're coming from.
There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

Haha, cool. I've been reading your stuff on IMDB for a while.

It's a small world.

P.S Awesome visual guide.

The three ships. Kinda like the Mayflower and all those.

The movie wasn't that great. they kind of left out a lot of crucial points, and butchered the plot.
IMDB is cool. Like me. Like Queezle. Like Bart.
Look, Queezle.

How can you butcher an awful plot?

Krim Horla
Same way you butcher a diseased pig?

By butchering the plot, I meant...

Ruined it. They kind of disregarded a lot of his main points. Exactly, the way you would butcher a pig...though I wouldn't neccessarily use that as an analogy for Eragon.
Look, Queezle.

And there are thousands of other novels that are better than just fun to read.

Oliver Twist is one.

I thought it'd be boring, but it's rather engaging...

How can they get better than being fun to read? Books like Jane Eyre (a personal favorite) can be fun to read and deep. But, if a book isn't fun to read...Why would you read it?

I mean, any book has a moral if you really hunt...Hard.
Look, Queezle.
Anyways, back on topic, I love the book Eragon, but the movie was awful. It was far too different than the book, and so much was missing, it just . . . * sigh *

If a book is poorly written and has stolen a plot from almost every popular sci-fi/fantasy series on the planet, I'd say there is more to a book than "fun", yes.

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

User Avatar

It did not. Where have you heard of dragon riders before?

heh...heh

The Dragon Rider series? The book called Dragon Rider?

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

I remember a book set in the 1800s with dragons thrown in, Royal Dragoon cavalary they were.

Oh and a sci fi.

And have you read the thread? Defending Eragon is a mortal sin.

Yeah, well, then I'm doomed, I guess.

And, he's the best at writing dragon riders, so there.
Look, Queezle.
