Shame of the Super Son
PG was far better...
When Nat died, it's unforgivable...
And when he redeems himself, it's great too
AoS seems just too... easy
GE is good, but I prefer the "save the world" thing about PG.

AoS was a wonderful intro book. I agree with ElliotTamer on the easy part. GE to me, lacked in content and almost made me stop reading the whole series. (almost) PG... it was a wonderful finisher. I actually enjoyed reading Ktty's part of the story this time. The end was surprising, and the other world is... wierd.
Yes, it was better. I loved the descriptive quality it had, probably because I didn't read it, I listened to it, but it did seem less alive than the previous books, if that makes any sense at all. Nevertheless, it was better than the other books.

I hate the 'save the world thing'
Shame of the Super Son
Agreed. Seems to me that people who generally like lots of action have PG as their fave.
Nothing to see here, move along.

People pray for the return of Rambo.

Until then they are content to annoy us.
Shame of the Super Son
The action in PG would have a closer resemblance to the kind in Star Wars. I think I cringed slightly when I typed that. o.o Rambo is more old-school action.

Well, I like the "save-the-world-thing", although saving the government seems good too(like AS and GE), but Rupert was just dull... He was paranoic and nuts...
Anyway, which kind of menace do you prefer on a book?

Subtler.

Save the World, who cares About the world?

I think it was great. It had a lot of demon fighting and deaths.

I agree that PG was the best...it kept me on my toes better than GE, mostly because it actually made me think GAH! WHAT IF THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED? Instead of ... interesting, wonder how they're going to make a movie out of this.
Honestly, has anyone ever thought about it? How are they gonna put the footnotes in and all the Barti humour when it's mostly in his head! Meh.
Can't wait till they make a movie. Maybe it'll be better then HP.
Yeah, PG really awoke my feelings of compassion for the characters. It's one of the few books where I actually felt like crying...

I don't think they'll have the footnotes. GAH what am I saying. They need the footnotes!

Maybe they could do the echoey voice thing for the footnotes. Because their all Barti's opinion anyway rite? Or maybe they can show them like flashbacks.
