I find that in a trilogy, most of time, the second is the worst. Because the first is used to propel the series to fame, and the second is lazy work and used only to satisfy fans and to introduce more and set up the third. The third involves everyone left out in the third and is a great piece of work.

Return of the Jedi was my favorite of the original, with Revenge of the Sith was my favorite for the prequel(sp?) trilogy.

Well, the second book isn't really that bad. I mean, the book might be the worst of the three all right, but it might be there just to relieve all the excitement from AoS and to let us prepare for more excitement in PG. (Well, not that GE has a calm, relaxing story anyway...too many characters got killed! ) So what the book is doing is really filling in the gap between the first and the third books.

That's how I would think of it. ^_^

Yeah, it ain't bad, but it's not as good as the other two...

Like I said, It was eclipsed by AoS and PG.
