....

In hockey, that is an big feat.

Especially after a 4 month injury, and just starting to get back into the game.
Federer is going to be a father. Yippee!

Good video. Aren't the hockey nets fixed or did get dislodged because of that man?

The net posts have holes at the bottom, so they just moor them onto stakes in the ice. So it's not that hard to have them dislodged when someone goes crashing into it.

Yeah, two hundred pounds of person can do that.
Just wondering: anybody ever actually died during a hockey game?
From violence, heart attack, etc.

Um, not from a heart attack... no one over 40 plays in hockey.

But a couple NHLers have been injured from blades slicing their neck, as they don't tend to put on neck guards. A few have died. And recently, an 18 year old rookie in an A league fell into a coma and died when he was in a fight and got knocked to the ground, and his helmet had fell off.
In recent times, people below 40yrs are found to suffer from heart attacks too.
But I guess the sport in which max people die is car racing. I could be completely wrong.

Probably.
Walking's still the safest.
Next to that is.. the elevator.

Walking as a sport is actually remarkably dangerous, since it tends to happen on rather uneven ground.. Twisted ankles, broken legs, altitude sickness, assorted other fun and games.. It's dangerous enough that joining the university walking club requires that I sign a waiver of liability, whereas sports clubs like football or rugby do not..

Wow...
Well I was thinking normal, walking to the store kind of thing.
Not marathons.

Yeah, the best is how the spotlight shines on O'brien. Still, sad.

Mind, Vancouver just blanked Chicago, so meh.

Walking to the store could be dangerous if you get embroiled in a road accident :D .
Otherwise, I agree it seems safer than most sport. You are more likely to get a twisted ankle, broken leg etc in another sports.

Aww...cute he'll have something to cheer him up while Nadal's kicking his ass on the court :P jks

Tiger Wood's had a kid a couple months ago also...
I didn't know that! Anyway, I don't care much for Woods. He's brilliant....but golf isn't my sport.

No you see, Luciene, his child would turn out to be a boon for Federer & soon Nadal would have to relinquish his top position (I'm serious-no jokes).

Oh wow. That is hilarious, that video.

I don't follow hockey... are you allowed to get that far out past the net as a goalie?

I don't know about that, but I know I prefer street ball, whether soccer, basketball, or football.
Much more fun, and less rules :)
