Yeah compared to football, hockey seems rather lame to me too. Or mightbe probably because the only time I played hockey was using golf clubs.

More dangerous, yes. You're skidding around on ice with blades on your feet and a significant proportion of time is spent getting into fights with other players.

If you've seen a full hockey game, there's only one or two scraps, and they last only a few minutes.

Though hitting is quite frequent, hockey is a lot more than just throwing your body around...
