I like the mascots for the London Olympics and Paralympics though. Wenlock and Mandeville.

I'm quite bored of those cartoon character-like animations or animal mascots. This one is quite unique. The feel of it is different too.

Bah, modern art. (this statement in no way reflects that I am a student at an all-day art program. I swear. :P ) I'd like them if it weren't for the shinnyness. Also, why do Olympic mascots never have anything to do with sports.

Plus the Obligatory Canadian Pride Moment: Our mascots were the cutest things ever, even if one of them looked like a panda (apparently it's a mythical spirit bear. Or something.)

I think they are both cute and original. But London's 2012 logo sucks.

Psst. We don't have panda's over here. Also, the Bejing Olympics had a panda mascot, so we kind of look like thieves. :P

Well, there's that, but the main issue is that I'm confused by meme's in general. At least the idea that repeating a phrase or reposting an image counts as humour.

Because with the World juniors you can actually cheer for your country (instead of a bunch of players that aren't from the city that the team is named after - I don't understand the whole; I have to support the team because it represents my city nonsense), and be all patriotic and stuff.

Besides, it's nice to (usually) beat the Americans at something for once. . :D

Tomorrow I'm taking part in the Mumbai Marathon. The 6km Dream Run. Strictly speaking, this run isn't really a marathon (the 21 km or 42 km runs are; they will be going on too tomorrow) but I'm no way prepared to take part in them. I can run 2 km at one go, tops. Hopefully, I'll get time in the future to take part in the real marathon 'çause I really want to.
But on the down side, I've now got cold. Possibly the worst thing one could get before taking part in a run because I start to cough terribly and my nose starts leaking when I begin running. And that stops me. :'( Do yáll know any effective way of reducing it within 24 hours? I've tried a few things to reduce the symptoms and it is kinda working, but it is still difficult to run for long.
But I'll be getting to see some of the best marathon runners (I'll be completing my run and going to watch the 42 km marathon) and quite a few Bollywood actors!
