Well not in the US. TV rating went up during the World Series, and the stadiums were still as packed and the news is still going on about it. But then again it's the Yankees, who have a crapload of fans. However worldwide baseball was never popular.

Football is definitely more popular IMO. 'Cept in Chicago. (well maybe other places too; but I've only ever been to Chicago)

Over here it's hockey. Which is why I'm surprised no one's gonna let us move the Coyotes to Hamilton, there's a lot bigger of a market for it here than there is in the middle of the desert I'm sure. Look at the Leafs.

any followerd of Australian Rules football here? If youve never hear it I advise giving it a look, constant action, brutality surpased only by boxing, martial arts and UFC, massive endurance, skill and power amongst the athletes and pure exitement to watch.

Imo the huge interest in hockey here is the reason we'll never do well. Why would they bother hiring good players, if people are going to fill the stadium and buy seasons tickets, regardless of how well the team does. Hockey is so wack.
