The rules are quite complicated indeed. Wikipedia is helpful if no one can tell you. Once you firmly grasp the rules, you then need to see a good game. Some are rather boring or sloppy, but if you are lucky enough to get a good game, most people become interested. Things are almost always better live, my mom and dad are going to Arrowhead Stadium (Chiefs) and won't take me...
But, I get the house to myself, so I don't mind too much.
