Yeah.

She's one of the few. And that's why the masses like to ship them.

Do spirits even have emotions like humans?

Yes. Although they would lack the body parts.

Nouda was "disgusted" with Barti for trying to save Nat and Kitty.
It was a little sad when Nat died. I suppose it made me think about life...But I got over it after a while and moved on to writing a fanfiction. I suppose that's how I supress emotion...hmm, Ptolemy's death is what really made me sad. I read all of the chapters dedicated to him over three times. Sad.

Spirits can't have relationships like that.

I asked to stop the insane shipping. Though I guess I could have promoted it if Jonathan had answered it differently...

Ptolemy didn't make me as sad as Nat, though I cried for both.

When Ptolemy died? I was resigned. I knew he was going to die eventually, but at least he died with a smile, a salute, and the sight of his friend trying with all his might to stay in the world to save him.

Nat? Very angry, I was. This may be cliched, but he had a lot to live for. He was the one who brought about the salvation of humanity (or London) and stopped the cycle of the magical empires. He deserved to see it through.

i had to hold back tears when Nathaniel died
but some ppl in this thread stated how they would comit "suicide" if bart died also
but i found it more touching when Nathaniel dismissed him just like potylemy did
i bet u that bartimaus will be wearing Nathaniel's appearance for a long time now

Nah. Ptolemy did more than Nat, though Nat will be remembered by Bart.

I'm not the only one.
well
they both did the same thing
they both treated bart with respect and gained his trust
in their own ways of course
and if u think about it
you'll agree with me

Actually, if you added Kitty's and Nat's actions together, only then would they have done everything Ptolemy did.

well of course
kitty helped alot
but i find Nathaniel's relationship with bart closer
it helps also that bart know nathaniel's birthname
otherwise nathaniel would have dismised him long ago

Don't be so sure.
Nathaniel was drawn to Bart even after he'd dismissed him, because he was Nat's best servant.
Ptolemy treated Bartimaeus as a person, instead of a servant.
For quite a long time, too.
Nat and Kitty only did this towards the end of their short relationships.

The three gifts were a lot more than what Kitty and Nathaniel did.

Well Kitty did treat him like a person....nearly. She didn't quite trust him in the pentacle. And Nat did do a Ptolemy style ending. But Nat didn't give the second gift; freedom of will.
