am i the only one that didn't relate Kitty to Asmira. Asmira seemed stoic with a fear of being unactive and a loss of control, she was humourless and short sighted; a straight arrow to the extreme. kitty on the other hand was looser, if you get my point, she was funny with her one liners she was passionate and more angry than asmira ever showed (from what i remember about asmira, i need to read all of them again). yes they had similar qualities, they were both strong female leads with strong opinions, but they're both different in a lot of smaller ways.
Asmira = stoic. opinionated
Kitty = feisty. opinionated.
i dunno if this was exactly what i thought, i haven't read them in about a month or so so my thoughts on both have faded a bit. but i know i didn't relate them to each other besides the fact that barti said in the trilogy something along the lines that kitty was a little like other commoners he'd met when he'd met them so i sort of expected her to be slightly like kitty.
