Hahahaha. If it was called 'owmyfoot!', he's going to be the laughingstock of every spirit, from imp to marid.

Now that I think about it, something tells me poor "owmyfoot" probably has a few more curse words in his name than common decency would allow.

He probably looks at his fellows like "I dare you, I swear to god I dare you to say anything, I will rip your face off if you do and feed it to the imps" so most of the laughing is probably behind his back.

Except for higher spirits on the totem pole. They don't rightly give a damn. Poor old Owmy[expletive]foot...

Has the question ever been answered on what happens if two djinn of the same class are given the same name? Is that even possible? If not, then what if you had two djinn of the same class named the same dang thing but with a slightly different pronunciation? Talk about confusing as all heckies.

Want more confusion? What about having both djinns under your command AT THE SAME TIME?

...Oh god. If they're identical twins as well, I'm unsure if such that would make the scenario better or worse...let's go with both.

What would if you had two magicians summon the two of them at exactly the same time? which spirit would go to whom?

On that note, what happens if two magicians in the same pentacle summon a spirit? would he have two masters? It has to work out somehow, because it says in AoS,if i recall correctly, that you needed two magicians to summon a marid, more for higher spirits.

Can a spirit be split in two if he is summoned at the exact same time by two equally powerful magicians?

I wonder if Stroud will have another IRC session with us where we can ask all these questions...

What might happen is that one magician is designated as a 'master' while the other(s) is/are just there for magical support or whatever. Kind of like how they needed several for Ramuthra, but Lovelace was the one in "control".

As for the other questions, I have no idea.

That sounds terrible, so alternatively let's just suppose that for once the djinn would actually get to choose which direction they go into. Add more weight to the tugging, if you will. Still would be painful as hell. I choose to believe though.

I have, but my room is connected to my parents' so whenever I start my computer they would know, and mom has this strange habit to wake up at night and drink some milk which didn't help
