Well, it would depend on the category of spirit, where, when, and for what purpose you created it, but if I was creating one here, right now, and to steal William Gladstone's cloak...
I'd call it ...

for it's ability to act sneaky and eat stray imps.

You guys are all coming up with good ones here, but what if right when the magician was about to name their new djinn, they sneezed, and that became the djinn's name instead.

...More importantly, what if they farted?

What if they stubbed their toe and the djinn's name from henceforth was "OW MY FOOT" and that djinn was an afrit or something like that.
